Guest post by: Mrs Bob's Adventure Blog! Our blogging has taken a shift! Why? Well, babies typically do that. We are 7 months into parenthood and the adventures that come along with it. Now we’ve been introduced to the world of baby gear, which is ridiculously overwhelming. While we thought gear options were endless for adults, we’re finding that the baby world is never ending...like seriously, how can a baby have so much stuff?!? Our goal is to keep items for our little girl to a minimum, to buy things that will be long lasting and multi-functioning, and of course suite us well in our adventures. One of the first things needed to take our little one out was a baby carrier. Not only does this help tremendously at home, but it makes outings possible! We have a stroller that has taken the backseat to our baby carrier, simply because it takes up so much less space and June Bug (our child, not an actual june bug) seems to enjoy the carrier much more than the stroller. After trying 5 different carriers, we finally found the one that we feel fits all of our needs for hiking, and general everyday use. Here are the reasons why the Lillebaby Complete Airflow is the #1 baby carrier we recommend AND use ourselves: 1) Comfort - This carrier has been truly comfortable and keeps the weight of the kid off your hips and not pulling on your shoulders. There are 2 adjustment straps on the shoulders, vs the 1 found on most other carriers. These 2 straps allow a better fit to mom or dad's shoulders. This is also one of the only carriers we found that has lumbar support on the back which, for us and our long hikes, was very important. We immediately felt some added comfort from the foam pad. A lot of other carriers don't offer extension belts for plus size mom or dad's. However, Lillebaby does, a better all around fit for a lot of people. 2) Longevity - This carrier is suggested for babies 7-45 lbs, and they offer a toddler size up for when your little one is bigger than that! I wanted a carrier that would last me several years, and not something that our June Bug would quickly outgrow. 3) Breath ability - The Lillebaby Complete has a few different design options. We decided on the Complete Airflow because the southern heat is NO JOKE. Honestly, if you've worn a baby carrier at all, you know how sweaty your front side can get...#gross. The Lillebaby is made from a 3D breathable mesh, so while we can't avoid ALL sweat, it seems to cut down on a lot of it. #winning! 4) Cost - We are constantly on the lookout for budget friendly outdoor gear... however, we have learned over the years that cheap isn't always best. We often spend more money re-buying cheap things that break, rather than investing in something that will last and that we'll actually like. This is a pretty fairly priced carrier at $135 and while that may sound steep to some, we promise that you'll get your money's worth. 5) No Insert Needed - This is an awesome feature. What you purchase is all that you need. No extra infant insert, which means better breathability, and one less thing to keep track of! 6) Carry Positions - This carrier allows for 6 different carry positions that are comfortable: Front-fetal, Front-infant, Front-outward, Front-toddler, Hip and Back carry. You can read more about all the different options on the Lillebaby website This carrier has some great little extras like the shade hood, and a great little zipper pocket that allows you to stick a snack or phone in! Overall, it's just a great carrier that's going to last a long time. After lots of searching we feel comfortable recommending this to people who want a great baby carrier for tons of adventures! *This post was in no way sponsored by Lillebaby. The carrier was purchased with our own hard earned cash*
