If you haven't heard of Xero Shoes by this point, we aren't quite sure where you've been. They shook up the sandal game with the huarache style barefoot sandals. Next they introduced they Z Trek sandals which took on styles like Chaco and Teva (and quite well I might add). They've gone the next step (pun intended!) and added a closed toe casual kick to their lineup... The Ipari Hana is Xero Shoe's answer to the age old barefoot question... what do you do if you can't wear sandals to work or in the winter?? This shoe has a really nifty huarache style lacing system that wraps around the heel to really snug it in. These are like a cross between a slip on and moc style shoe. They are built on the same Feel True sole that the Z Trek sandal is built on with the same 5000 mile warranty! They only have a 5.5mm stack height with a removable 2mm insole, so you're really going to get some solid ground feel in these! As with all Xero Shoes, there isn't any support or anything else to irritate your foot... We found this shoe to run a bit small according to the size chart so we went up a half size and it feels perfect. The interior of the shoe offers a plush microfiber so you don't even have to wear socks! I prefer socks as I get some STINKY feet quick... These offer a protective toecap, canvas outer and a truly solid build. Xero Shoes really hit it outta the park with this new shoe to their already solid lineup of minimalist shoes.
If you're into the barefoot/minimalist style of shoes, we'd highly recommend checking these out and if you hurry, you can get them at a special pre-sale price!
